MTD Helper explains Making Tax Digital for Income Tax in plain English and offers free tools to check if and when it applies to you. There is no sign-up, and the tools run entirely in your browser.

Who runs it?

MTD Helper is run by Filip Adamovic, based in Austria. I'm a software engineer from Vienna. I like software that solves an annoying problem in a minute, and that's what I build here: free tools with no sign-up, where your figures stay on your device.

How is the information checked?

All rules come from HMRC guidance on GOV.UK. Each page links to its sources and shows when it was last checked. The tools and texts are created with the help of AI tools and reviewed by me before publication. I am not a tax adviser; for your own situation, please check GOV.UK or ask an accountant.
