Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit MTD Helper, in line with the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR.

2. Your inputs stay on your device

The calculators and checkers run entirely in your browser. Figures you enter, such as your income, are not sent to our server and are not stored.

3. Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (Cloudflare Pages). When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). 4. Cookies

This site sets no cookies. For anonymous visitor statistics we use Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc., see Hosting). It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not build profiles of you. It only records aggregated data such as pages viewed, referring site, country, and browser and device type. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We currently use no advertising services.

We also count anonymously how often features are used (for example “puzzle finished” or “calculator used”). Only the event, the page and the date are stored, as daily totals without IP address, identifier or cookies. This counting also runs on Cloudflare. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Contact by email

If you email us, we process your details to answer your enquiry and delete them when they are no longer needed.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can complain to a supervisory authority, for example the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
